What happens to what you send us
This is short because there is not much to it. This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party trackers. One first-party script — Vercel Web Analytics — counts page views without cookies and without collecting anything that identifies you. Nothing else is loaded from anyone else's server when you read a page. The only personal data we hold is the business contact detail you choose to send us when you ask for a quotation.
Who is responsible for it. Yixin Industrial Ltd. — the contracting entity behind this site (company details) — decides what happens to anything you send and is the party to hold to this page. One address for all of it: info@ixpackaging.com.
What we collect
Two things, and only when you choose to send them.
- The four quick questions on the quote form: what you need, how many, the destination port or city, and a business email address to reply to.
- Anything you volunteer if you send a full specification instead — fill weight, material behaviour, print colours and artwork, certifications your buyer requires, Incoterm, target dates, and what went wrong with a previous supplier. You choose how much of that to send. A partial answer is genuinely useful; a blank one is fine too.
All of it is business contact data — you at work, about a purchase your company is considering. We do not ask for and have no use for anything about you as a private individual. We do not collect special category data, and if a specification you send happens to contain some, tell us and we will delete that part.
How it reaches us
Reading this site sends nothing to anyone but our own host. There is no third-party tracker and no request to any other company, so nobody is building a picture of what you looked at across the web — not us, and not a third party we invited in. What our own host does see is the ordinary web-server log and the anonymous page-view count, both described in the next section.
Pressing Send on the quote form is the one moment anything is transmitted. When you do, the four answers go from your browser directly to Formspree, a United States form service we use to receive them, which emails them straight on to us. Nothing is stored on this site — this site has no database and no server that can receive a form. If Formspree is unreachable, the page opens your own mail program with your answers filled in instead, and you decide whether to send it.
Two details worth knowing. The form takes text only, so artwork and drawings have to come by email — which means you choose what to attach and when. And if your browser has JavaScript switched off, sending the form takes you to Formspree's own confirmation page, where their terms apply rather than ours.
What the web server sees
The same thing every web server sees: the IP address the request came from, the time, the page asked for and the browser string. Our host, Vercel, records that at its edge and keeps it for a short fixed period of its own. We do not export it, we do not keep a second copy, and we do not join it to enquiries or build profiles from it. The one measurement product on the site is Vercel's own Web Analytics: an aggregate page-view count, no cookies, no cross-site identifier, nothing that joins a visit to a person or to an enquiry.
Why we hold it
To answer your quotation request, and to follow it up. In the language of the GDPR that is steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry addressed to us. We do not need your consent to reply to you, and we do not pretend otherwise with a banner.
We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send anything you did not ask for. If that ever changes we will ask first, and asking will mean asking — not a pre-ticked box.

We publish which plant runs which process and never which plant runs which order — that is what keeps a second qualified plant available to you. It has a privacy effect worth stating in reverse: a plant sees a specification, not a customer.
We do not sell, rent, share or trade contact data. No data brokers, no list swaps, no advertising platforms, no enrichment services.
Where it travels — the United States, then China
A quote form submission crosses two borders, and you should know that before you press send rather than find it in a footnote afterwards.
- To the United States, because Formspree receives the form and passes it to us.
- To China, because we are here. There is no European adequacy decision for China. We answer quotations from China for the plain reason that this is where the plants and the people who can price your job are; there is no version of this where the answer comes from somewhere else.
Chinese personal information law applies to us as well as European law, and we handle what reaches us under both.
If you would rather not use the form, email us directly — that skips the United States entirely and the message goes only through your mail provider and ours. If you would rather not send an email address at all, send the specification without contact detail and telephone for the answer. Neither is unusual and neither gets you a worse quote.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become orders: 24 months from our last exchange, then deleted. Twenty-four months because tenders in this trade repeat annually, and a buyer who returns should not have to re-explain a specification we already worked on.
- If you become a customer, the order documents become accounting records and we keep them for as long as Chinese tax and accounting law requires us to. That is a legal obligation and we cannot shorten it, even at your request.
- Form submissions also sit in our Formspree account as well as in our mail. They are deleted there on the same 24-month schedule, and immediately if you ask us to delete.
Ask us to delete sooner and we will, unless a specific record is one of those we are required to keep.
Your rights, and the single route to use them
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to us holding it, or ask for it in a portable form. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
One route, no portal and no account: info@ixpackaging.com, subject line Data request. We answer within 30 days. If we need to check you are who you say you are, we will ask for the least we can get away with — usually just a reply from the same address.
Changes
This page carries the date it was last changed. If it changes materially — a new processor, a new retention period, a change to how the form works — we will say what changed rather than quietly re-dating it.
