What it is
A pouch made from printed laminated film, with two side seals and a W-folded bottom gusset that opens into an oval base, so the filled pouch stands on the shelf. It can be closed by heat sealing alone or reclosed with a press-to-close or slider zip, and options include tear notches or laser-scored easy-tear lines, hang holes, a clear window, matte-and-gloss finishes, rounded corners, a kraft-paper outer ply and a one-way degassing valve. Used for pet food and treats, rice, grains and pulses, roasted coffee, nuts and snacks, seeds, powders, liquid refill packs and frozen foods.
