Flexographic printing 柔版印刷
Flexographic printing from a raised rubber or photopolymer plate.

What actually happens
Flexo suits simpler artwork with fewer colours and has much lower tooling cost than gravure, so it is the right choice for short runs and for printing directly onto woven fabric without laminating first. Water-based inks can be used directly on woven.
What to specify
Keep artwork to solid areas and simple type. Fine gradients belong on gravure.
How it goes wrong, and what catches it
The failure mode. Dot gain and loss of fine detail; ink coverage varying across a wide web.
The control. Press-OK gate as above, and coverage checked across the full web width rather than at one edge.
We publish which of our plants runs this process — see the capability matrix. We do not publish which plant runs a given order.
